From Boonchai
“Your qi doesn’t go down. Your head has a rope pulling the top of your head to the sky. Tai Chi is always opposite; when your hands are down your qi is going up. Let your hands down, your qi goes up. Never lock the joints. When you do it at home it doesn’t matter if you do it right or not. Then when you come back, I will correct the mistake. Don’t be afraid if you do it right or not. In tai chi (we follow) nature. But we are out of nature. So we have no idea what nature is. Just like fruits - we can get tropical fruits in a cold area. This confuses the body. Only eat from local in season. So people now have allergies; It’s because our bodies are confused. Tai chi is to bring us back to nature. Tai chi is to go back to the nature. We train our body to get used to nature. Once you come back here, I will correct your mistakes. Slowly you will be back to the nature more and more.”
