From Boonchai

“Yang style is more like more circles more slow. Chen style is still pretty popular but it’s mostly for applications for fighting looks like martial arts. Look like lots of force more energetic. Looks like more outside going. Good for young people. How come Yang style becomes popular quickly? Because it’s good for every age. And then, the grandson made it even slower. No fast moves. The grandson’s last name was Yang Chen Fu. He made it so slow. His form quickly became popular. Looks like more Yin and Yang. He was the third son. His brothers practiced the original one which was pretty close to Chen style. He changed Yang to be more slow. The form he practiced he called it Yang style long form, Yang traditional form, Yang Chen Fu style tai chi. They are all the same. Some people love to call it as Yang style 85 movement, Yang style 108 movement, Yang style 137 movement, they all the same. They just spread to different places.”
